Wikipedia sucks, read all the comments.

October 31, 2007

I found this site online, it has some very interesting comments by all the users who are fed up with the harassment that OCD administrators are given to them. There are too many of them, so I won’t copy and paste here.

a perfect article about wikipedia OCD administrators from “Onideus Mad Hatter”

October 31, 2007

This particular user Gogo-dodo also edits articles without even reading them. Recently I tried to put up a page about myself, which was NOT written by me, but another individual who attempted to post the article on Encyclopedia Dramatica (only to have it vandalized). I put up their article and included the reference to where it came from originally.

This user Gogo-dodo, along with various other Wikiaddicts responded to the article almost instantaneously. Literarily the response time was about three seconds from the time it took to post and click refresh.

What was most interesting wasn’t simply the fact that the Wikiaddicts didn’t read the article, but the generalized presumptions that they came up with. At first they attempted to claim that the article had to be removed because it was a hate article…at which point I tried to explain to them that it couldn’t rightly be a hate article if it was about me and I was putting it up.

So then next they completely contradicted their own original argument and claimed that it was being used as a personal soap box article to try and promote myself…which was a very telling accusation since much of the content in the article wasn’t exactly presenting me and my endeavors in the most favorable light (or at least not the light I would like them presented in personally), in other words it was directly explaining the observed nature of my posting habits, neutral and unbiased.

So after they got soundly bitch slapped twice in a row, they then went on to try and claim that the article held no significance and that, that was the REAL reason it was removed (apparently they can just reinvent the REAL reason over and over again until they get their way).

That accusation too was also incredibly absurd as well since the articles purpose was very clearly to act as a warning sign for communities I choose to involve myself with. Since the article explained my posting tactics and methodology from a neutral observer stand point it served as a very useful tool to communities to avoid getting into a conflict with me.

So ultimately it became obvious very quickly to me that these Wikiaddicts weren’t even ~really~ interested in the articles themselves, but solely over the politics and procedures of creating and editing pages. Essentially users like Gogo-dodo don’t care about politics as much as they do about trying to win the election so to speak. “Winning” is their goal, and they can justify almost anything to themselves simply by ignoring the original/updated article outright.

It is indeed and very much a form of addiction and one that I believe is wrongly pushed and promoted by the owners of Wikipedia, as is seen by their various editor “trophies” and no form of editing time restriction. In the end though I think it’s highly likely that it’ll come back to bite them in the ass. All it’s going to take is just one lawsuit, claiming that the Wikipedia owners wrongly promoted and pushed the addictive nature of the site onto them with no form of post time restriction and that’ll be it. The great big Wikigiant will come tumbling down its ever spiraling out of control editing beanstalk as it were.

Do not donate to Wikipedia!

October 24, 2007

It seems that wikipedia is short of money again. You wonder why. Most of the OCD administrators don’t get paid at all. Why does wikipedia need money so bad?

They are putting that sign “help us spread knowledge worldwide” on every page, which is quite annoying.

They should change it to “help us spread Obsessive-compulsive disorder worldwide!”

yeap, that is what they are doing. They are creating more and more OCD administrators and editors. Mostly due to their stupid banned for life rule. Many of the OCD administrators are actively abusing their power, wikipedia gives them natural high which they can’t get from using drugs. Once they are hooked on wikipedia, they don’t need any other kind of drug, wikipedia is the e-drug. It provides all those OCD administrators plenty of battlefields to fight against the “vandals”, it is 24 hours, 7 days, no christmas break for them. Anytime when they feel depressed or low in real life, they can just get on wikipedia, kick out a few people that they don’t like, ban those people for life. And there is no check and balance, they are free to do whatever they like. Those OCD administrators think that they are always right.

So that is why you should not donate a penny to wikipedia, wikipedia doesn’t need you. If wikipedia is really short of money, it should just ask those OCD administrators to donate some money themselves. Besides, if they are really desperate for money, those OCD administrators should donate some work hour and get a real job, that will make wikipedia rich in no time.

The fundamental serious problem of wikipedia – a simple example, part II,

October 21, 2007

Some people may not have encountered with many of those typical wikipedia OCD administrators.

Here is just one simple example to show why they are so obsessed, and have no life.

For example, if you want to create a new article, but you are banned for life, because of some “vandalism” that you did which was randomly determined by any of those OCD administrators.

So you create a new user ID, spend some time writing this article. A few hours later, somehow those OCD administrators who are obsessively watching your every move on there, find out that you are one of the banned for life editors. They will immediately delete your article, no matter how important that article is. Of course, any normal people will get upset, so you go back, revert their truly vandalized page. Another OCD administrator will find out immediately, and that nerd will also revert your action, and call it a vandalism. They will then add your IP number or user name to your “banned for life file”, and they are very good at that, and that is what they do for living!

Anyway, after a few rounds of reverting, they will just put the name of that article for protection for eternity, so no one can create it. And yes, that is how stupid those OCD patients are. They would rather have an empty article than thanking you for contribution.

They have no brain, they can’t think logically. They don’t care how important that article is, all those OCD administrators care is to “punish” those “banned for life criminals.” They act as if they are some kind of police forces, their sole life purpose is to enforce wikipedia’s ridiculous rules.

For people who have good education, who have social life, they certainly know where to get a job that pays well. They can only spare some of their free time editing some articles once in a while.

Only those who have no education, who have no social life can spend so many hours daily on wikipedia “enforcing” those stupid rules. They can’t even get an assistant manager job at any fast food restaurants, but they are giving the power to abuse people on wikipedia. Of course, only they feel happy to work for wikipedia without getting paid for a penny.

This is no joke, even for those well-educated retired people, they have better things to do than those OCD patients, such as traveling around the world, volunteering at some real charities, etc. Even they can’t stand sitting in front of a computer for many hours everyday.

And that is why so many real knowledgeable editors are fed up with those no-education OCD administrators, decided never to write another article on wikipedia ever again. If wikipedia doesn’t change that stupid banned for life rule, the quality of that so-called free encyclopedia will only go down further. After all, if it is free, it can’t be good.

The fundamental serious problem of wikipedia – Banned for lifetime.

October 19, 2007

It is quite common that someone who only wants to contribute some valuable information on wikipedia, accidently s/he pissed off one of the OCD administrators. That person is banned for lifetime.

Are those banned editors “criminals?” Did they kill someone, or are they the internet terrorists? What did they do that deserve a lifetime ban?

Once that person is banned, anything s/he edits will be be reverted by those wikipedia OCD administrators. And that is the fundamental problem of wikipedia. Because there are just way too many OCD patients working for wikipedia who have nothing else better to do, those nerdy no-life losers spend their lifetime on reverting banned editors’ edited articles, even if they are reverting back to the vandalized page.

Here is the perfect example, what those OCD patients are doing for wikipedia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Penwhale&oldid=106705031#Hey.2C_thanks_for_reporting_me_ASSHOLE.21.21.21

They don’t care what the banned users did, they just want to revert, revert. And wikipedia foundation encourages such abusive behavior. It also gives those people a sense of power which they don’t have in real life. Further, it makes them feel good because they can’t control anyone in real life, at least they are happy that they can just abuse anyone that they dislike on wikipedia. And that is the reason why they are diagnosed as patients of obsessive-compulsive disorders.

If wikipedia doesn’t change that stupid rule, wikipedia is simply creating more and more people with wikipedia addiction and wikipedia generated OCD.

In real life, if someone committed a murder, s/he has to go through trials; and if s/he doesn’t agree with the judge, s/he can still go for another trial at a higher court. On wikipedia, once a person is banned by any of those OCD administrators, the person is banned for life. There is no trial, nothing. That creates lots of problems, because how can we be sure the banned user was actually “vandalizing” pages? How can we be sure that those OCD administrators actually did the right thing? There is no check and balance inside wikipedia, those OCD patients basically just bound with each other. To those idiots, they think that the world only has two kinds of people, the wikipedia administrators and those banned editors of wikipedia.

Lots of those OCD administrators are spending their time pissing people off by reverting, and they spend way too much time on studying if one of the editors is a banned editor. It gets them excited to know that a banned user is back. That is the reason why there are so many pages on wikipedia full of “criminal” names, those OCD patients are constantly adding more information about any “vandals” recent activities.

wikipedia idiots need to stop this stupid rule of banning people for lifetime, because most people were banned for the wrong reason. And even those real life criminals are given second chances once they are released from the jail. Further, many banned editors are actually well educated, and they are only trying to contribute their own knowledge. For people who have a life, they don’t have time to be wikipedia administrators, they only have time to edit a few articles once in a while.

On the other hand, many of those OCD administrators are the ones who need to be banned for lifetime, because they have no life other than wikipedia!

What kind of education do those wikipedia OCD administrators have?

October 11, 2007

What kind people can “devote” their free time on managing a web site which none of them are getting paid for?

Do you think that any person who have a good education, who have a good job, and a well balanced social life, can actually “devote” their time for this worthless site?

How many of the wikipedia administrators are actually high school graduates?

There is no education requirement for anyone to apply to become an administrator. All they need is votes from OCD administrators. So if you are good with other administrators who have no education, you are guaranteed to get a vote from them.

In real life, if someone ever wants to work for some big companies, s/he has to have at least a bachelor degree.

The lack of education is the reason why wikipedia is so chaotic, full of non-sense, idiotic, OCD administrators, because they have never had any good education. So they are just managing that site like chickens with their heads cut off, they just do whatever they feel like, and call anything that they don’t like “vandalism,” it is just that simple and easy. There is no one to check to make sure that they know what they are doing.

There are some well educated people who want to contribute, and make some articles better, but those OCD administrator can just revert anything and label them as vandalism.

It is not a surprise that many colleges and universities are now banning their students using wikipedia, because wikipedia is full of errors. If a little wants to watch an R rated movie, s/he is required to show an ID. On wikipedia, little kids can edit any articles they want, articles about pornography, sex, rocket science, anything! There is no age requirement.

Wikipedia will never dare to release its’ own administrators’ educational information, because the OCD administrators just don’t have any. And that is the reason those no-life administrators can spend hours everyday on managing that site, pissing people off one after another.
