Wow, you all are the biggest bunch of hypocrites I’ve ever seen! For those of you complaining about obscenity, why would you post links to obscene Wikipedia articles so that twisted kids will get ideas? For those of you complaining about Wikipedia being written by non-experts, what do you consider yourself? Are you experts on Wikipedia? Do you even know the basics like where it is headquartered, when it was created, or how many paid employees it has? How are you qualified to write about Wikipedia here on WordPress? You are not experts, so you should seriously stop whining. For those that consider Wikipedia admins “people with no life,” how would you describe yourself? If you “have a life” then why are you on here writing about something that you don’t like. Is your goal to piss off people, kind of like you say Wikipedia admins do? I’m not an admin, but I am a regular editor there, and I do NOT spend every minute of my day on that site. You say that Wikipedians can’t get girlfriends, but I have a girlfriend that is one of the more popular girls at school; she’s a cheerleader but not a low life one like you see vandalizing Wikipedia. Speaking of cheerleaders vandalizing Wikipedia, I have good news for those of you that want Wikipedia blocked in public schools: thanks to the cheerleaders at rivals Charlotte and Lemon Bay High School vandalizing the site (and I think they had that Wikipedia generated OCD you speak of), Charlotte County Public Schools has blocked it out district wide, but don’t get all happy because unlike THIS SITE (WordPress), Wikipedia isn’t blocked with the standard block page with “Acess Denied,” two spinning stop signs, and a cartoon computer monitor with eyes standing on a surf board; it is redirected to a list of other online resources because Wikipedia in itself is not as bad a site as you’re saying here, and it is only blocked because some OCD cheerleaders at rival schools can’t behave themselves and Charlotte (Tarpon) High School won’t do anything whereas the other schools here would have permabanned the lozers over it. WordPress, on the other hand, is blocked because, unlike Wikipedia, there’s no one here to clean up people’s messes unless their mess violates AUP for the site. Boy do you have it wrong about people having OCD. Whoever it was defending the morrons at Wikipedia:Long_term_abuse, you are the biggest hypocrite in the history of the internet; the Wikipedia vandals at LTA are probably all spoiled snobs with no disipline and absolutely deserve to have their internet service terminated. Shame on you for sticking up for the OCD vandals, and shame on you for calling the Wikipedians “stalkers” when you’ve probably performed the same level of research on Wikipedians in attempt to smear us. Also, for those of you who say Wikipedia editors should tell everyone their names, take a look at yourself. Why don’t YOU announce to the world your real life identity? Aren’t your work here? I’m not here to say that Wikipedia is a perfect utopia, there are bad apples everywhere, but I am here to tell you that you people are no better than the very people you are bashing.
